Patagonia - one of the most fascinating yet challenging regions of our planet. It’s a place of outstanding beauty – yet riddled with danger.

At the tip of South America lies a landscape of extremes: Patagonia. Its vast ice sheets are among the mightiest in the world. The harsh climate and the constant wind in Patagonia set the rhythm of life. In times of climate change, this rhythm changes noticeably and the country can no longer tolerate the traditional livestock of the gauchos. New pioneers are reconquering the country and bringing more awareness for nature conservation and regional economies. Can the wilderness of Patagonia still be saved?
