Adventure Indonesia – Sumatra Uncovered
Kim and Eike, video journalists and passionate travelers, have decided to grab their backpacks and take us on a journey through Sumatra.
It's not the first time that Kim has been there, she visited Indonesia when she was 19. But this time everything is different. Together with Eike they arrive by boat from Karimun and travel like the locals to get to know this magical island to the core. We follow them explore the breathtaking landscape, meet the warm and friendly Indonesians, but also visit the less touristy, more conservative part of the largest Indonesian island, where the Islamic sharia law still determines people's lives. A unique adventure of two young travelers experiencing and trying to understand one of the most interesting and beautiful islands in the world.
