His groundbreaking laws of planetary motion set the stage for modern astronomy, as we know it today. His successes, however, were hard-won in the shadow of numerous challenges, personal tragedies and entanglements.

Just in time for the 400-year-anniversary of Kepler's 3rd law, we travel back in time to a century of war, chaos and death. This documentary drama focuses on the biography of this key figure in the 17th-century scientific revolution. With about 80% reenactments, this film also illustrates Kepler's thoughts and views in form of animations and takes you on an expedition into another world.
